FEBRUARY 28, 2003

FROM: OEA EXECUTIVE BOARD

The OUSD School Board is convening a special meeting to identify and act on items on the proposed “cut list”. The OEA Executive Board recommends that the only piece of business on March 3, 2003 will be finalizing nominations for elections.

We are recommending that Rep Council vote to recess the March 3rd meeting at 4:30 pm. and resume the business session on Monday, March 10 at 4 pm. After the meeting has been recessed, we are urging that all Reps attend the special School Board meeting at 1025 2^nd Avenue, Hunter Hall. We must show a united front in responding to this crisis.
